Come and learn the art of making Hydrosols and Essential Oils! We will be going over the entire process of how to turn plant matter into a wonderfully magic and aromatic liquid. We will discuss how the still works and how the hydrosol and essential oils are made, we will stuff the still full of freshly harvested plant material, and then we will distill a full batch of hydrosol and demonstrate how to separate out the essential oils from the hydrosol.

We will be demonstrating the process using our beautiful copper alembic still, and we will also demonstrate how to make your own oil and hydrosol using a much smaller still that can be used in your home.

At the end of the workshop, you will get to take home a 2ml bottle of the essential oil that we created, as well as a 4 OZ spray bottle of the hydrosol that we created. (Approximately a $35 value).

-Add an additional 4 OZ Hydrosol to your workshop purchase for only $15 (25% Discount) - You will be able to choose from our selection at the workshop

Early bird sign up until 3/31 - $10 off. Limited spots available!

***The purchase for this workshop will be non-refundable after April 18th. In the event you are not able to attend due to sickness or natural disaster, you will be issued credit for our online store for the purchase price of the workshop, and it will be valid for 120 days***

What is a Hydrosol?

"Hydrosols, also known as "flower waters," are produced by distilling fresh leaves, fruits, flowers, and other plant materials. With similar properties to essential oils, these aromatic waters are much less concentrated. Their aromas are often soft and subtle when compared to their essential oil counterpart. These aromatic products usually have a scent similar to their essential oil, but also can have a greener note. This comes from the water soluble constituents in the plant material that are not present in the essential oil."
